KCCI appeals for strict civil curfew till April 1

Urges Govt to restore 4G, seeks donations for poor from biz community

Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc (KCC&I) has appealed Kashmir Inc to observe complete civil curfew till 1st April 2020 and help stop spreading of Corona (Covid 19) virus in J&K and save precious lives of our citizens.
KCCI, however, said essential items like food stuff, medicine supplies shall be exempted from civil curfew.
“We have taken pledge to be alongside with Government administration to eradicate this virus from J&K. But Government needs to take some steps immediately for ensuring smooth lockdown.”
KCCI urged government to ensure that ample foodstuff, baby food, medicines etc are available in the localities and people shouldn’t strive for it .
It also urged government to restore 4G internet so that people would get updated information and advisories regarding this Pandemic.
KCCI also appealed the government to provide free ration at doorsteps to the people under BPL categories.
“Government should extend dates for filing legal compliances and other statuary reports by at least a quater or till situation gets normal.”
KCCI further appealed all the essential shopkeepers and stores not to indulge in black marketing by escalating prices .

, 91 9419004218 between 10 am to 5.30 pm for any emergency.
KCCI has also appealed public especially business community to donate to help poor and needy patients in the procurement of their medicines and other necessary items. The business community can donate in the account of THE KCCI RELIEF TRUST, in the J&K Bank at Branch Residency road in the account number 0005010100007306 having IFSC CODE : JAKA0CHINAR
“We also urge our people not to come out unnecessarily or assemble on the roads or in grounds during the time the GOVT advisories are in place. We would also like to salute our doctors, paramedical staff , Govt administration and others for working tirelessly day and night to save precious lives.”
