COVID-19: Four more die, JK toll 1455

Four more COVID-19 patients including three from Jammu division have died in the past 24 hours, taking the number of casualties in J&K to 1455, while Tuesday witnessed 536 fresh cases, pushing the total number of cases to 93,213, officials said.
As per the government, the fresh casualties include three from Jammu division and one from Kashmir division.
With the fresh casualties, the death toll due to novel coronavirus has soared to 1455 in Jammu and Kashmir, which include 968 from Kashmir and 487 from Jammu.
So far, Srinagar has reported 348 deaths, Baramulla 143, Budgam 92, Pulwama 80, Kupwara 72, Anantnag 74, Kulgam 46, Bandipora 46, Shopian 35, and Ganderbal 32.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has reported 253 deaths, Rajouri 46, Doda 45, Kathua 31, Samba 25, Udhampur 30, Poonch 22, Ramban 13, Kishtwar 14 and Reasi eight.
On Wednesday, J&K reported 536 fresh coronavirus cases, which include 337 from Kashmir and 199 from Jammu division, pushing the total infection tally to 93,213.
The government said of the total 22,38,671 test results available, 21,45,458 returned negative and 93,213 positive which include 6,976 active positive cases while 84,782 have recovered and been discharged including 546 persons discharged during the past 24 hours.
It said, so far, 65,23,50 persons had been put under observation including 16,923 in home quarantine and 6,976 in isolation while 46,271 people are under home surveillance and 58,07,25 persons have completed their surveillance period.
In Kashmir, Srinagar has a total of 18,977 cases, Budgam 5926, Baramulla 5795, Pulwama 4609, Anantnag 4202, Bandipora 4006, Kupwara 4350, Ganderbal 3484, Kulgam 2466 and Shopian 2186.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has a total of 17,240 cases, Rajouri 3182, Udhampur 2649, Kathua 2410, Doda 2628, Samba 2155, Poonch 2231, Ramban 1575, Kishtwar 1884 and Reasi 1258.
