COVID-19: 6 more die, JK toll 1430

With 577 fresh cases, infection count 91,329

Six more COVID-19 positive persons died during the past 24 hours, taking the number of casualties in J&K to 1430, while Saturday reported 577 fresh cases, pushing the total infection count to 91,329, officials said.
As per the government, the fresh casualties include three each from Kashmir and Jammu division.
With the fresh casualties, the death toll due to the novel coronavirus has soared to 1430 in Jammu Kashmir, which include 955 from Kashmir and 475 from Jammu.
So far, Srinagar has reported 344 deaths, Baramulla 138, Budgam 91, Pulwama 79, Anantnag 74, Kupwara 71, Kulgam 46, Bandipora 45, Shopian 35, and Ganderbal 32.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has reported 248 deaths, Rajouri 45, Doda 44, Kathua 30, Udhampur 28, Samba 25, Poonch 22, Kishtwar 14, Ramban 12, and Reasi seven.
On Saturday, J&K reported 577 fresh coronavirus cases, which include 364 from Kashmir and 213 from Jammu division, pushing the total infection tally to 91,329.
The government said of the total 21,53,529 test results available, 20,62,200 returned negative and 91,329 positive which include 7680 active positive cases while 82,219 have recovered and been discharged including the 733 persons discharged during the past 24 hours.
It said, so far, 64,09,01 persons had been put under observation including 19,168 in home quarantine and 7680 in isolation while 48,396 people are under home surveillance and 56,36,87 persons have completed their surveillance period.
In Kashmir, Srinagar has a total of 18,531 cases, Budgam 5836, Baramulla 5539, Pulwama 4539, Kupwara 4250, Anantnag 4162, Bandipora 3957, Ganderbal 3420, Kulgam 2454, and Shopian 2146.
In Jammu division, Jammu district has a total of 16,792 cases, Rajouri 3166, Udhampur 2628, Doda 2604, Kathua 2376, Poonch 2193, Samba 2125, Kishtwar 1837,
Ramban 1551, and Reasi 1223.
