BJP greets JK people on Eid ul Adha, urges them to follow Covid19 SOPs

Celebrate Eid to strengthen humanity, mankind amid Covid-19 crisis

J&K BJP on Friday extended greetings to people on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha and urged people to celebrate Eid with asperity and follow SOP’s in view of Covid19 pandemic situation.
In a statement issued here, party president, Ravinder Raina extended greeting of Eid-ul-Adha and urged people to government’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
Raina said people should celebrate Eid with simplicity and adopt all precautionary measures against the deadly virus.
Party’s State General Secretary (org) Ashok Koul also extended greetings to people of Jammu and Kashmir and urged them to low SOP's and advisories issued by the administration.
“He said due to the prevailing situation, the whole world has been engulfed by a deadly virus. It is need of hour to follow government advisories with zeal and dedication,” Koul said.
As per Koul people should keep themselves and their families safe by praying inside their homes to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
General Secretary of party and In-charge for Kashmir, Vibodh Gupta also greeted people on Eid-ul-Adha, wishing that the special occasion will further the spirit of brotherhood and compassion.
“Eid is a harbinger of peace, prosperity,and development for the people of Kashmir so that paradise could get back it's lost glory,” he said.
He urged people to celebrate Eid with complete religious fervor and enthusiasm but keeping in mind appropriate social distancing norms and other necessary protocols owing to the coronavirus disease.
Gupta further said that everyone should pray to Almighty God for an end to Covid19 crisis so that mankind can live safely and prosper.
He further urged religious communities and priests to play a constructive role during the pandemic and educate people on various aspects of the deadly virus.
Party’s Kashmir Media Incharge and senior leader, Manzoor Bhat said Eid-ul-Adha is a festival of happiness and love.
He urged people to celebrate Eid with asperity and maintain social distance on the auspicious occasion in view of the d19 crisis.
“On behalf of the party, I extend warm greetings of Eid-ul-Adha to people of Kashmir and hope that it would bring peace and prosperity in the region,” Bhat said.
He also stressed that there is a ed for social distancing and people should follow all the guidelines and precautionary measures directed by the government.
“Eid-ul-Adha teaches us compassion and generosity. We should also appreciate and recognize the work of Police, health workers, and sanitation, who are risking their lives for our future,” Bhat added.
